FAQ
Do I need a special invite link?
No. Create a normal Discord invite link. For reliable tracking, use one with no expiration or usage limit.
Does creating a link give me an invite point?
No. Someone must join through the link, and the tracker must successfully identify it.
Why does a join show “Unknown”?
The log explains the detected reason. There may be no changed invite, multiple additional uses, a missing creator, no initialized baseline, or another event updating the snapshot during tracking. Expired and vanity links can also prevent attribution.
Who gets credit for an invite?
The person who created the link, even if someone else shares it.
What happens when an invited member leaves?
Their inviter’s tracked leave count increases. Their all-time invite score decreases by one if it is at least one. Weekly and monthly credited-join totals stay unchanged.
Can it count members who joined before setup?
No. Tracking begins from the invite baseline created during setup.
Do admin adjustments affect every leaderboard?
No. Adjustments affect the all-time invite score only.
Why can’t I find a link with /invite-link-stats?
Enter only its invite code. The command looks up active server invites; expired, deleted, and vanity links are not supported.
Does Invite Tracking+ give rewards?
No. It tracks invite activity and statistics without giving currency, roles, or other rewards. (For now)
Will tracking continue if I disable log messages?
Yes. Join and leave logging can be disabled while tracking remains active.
