⚠️ Important beta update: you cannot go back to the stable version
Once you update to this version, do not switch back to the stable version. The bot would no longer be able to start. Please only update if you are happy to stay on this version.
Highlights in this release:
- 🧪 Context-menu commands enter Early Access - add selected bot actions to Discord's right-click Apps menu
- 🛡️ Anti-Nuke Protection enters Early Access and can detect, respond to and help reverse destructive attacks
- 💬 Message Quotes turns pasted message links into readable, customizable quotes
- ♟️ Chess and 📊 Live Messages are now available to every server
- 🗓️ Scheduled messages can repeat daily, weekly or monthly
- 🎛️ Advanced Logging gets much more precise controls, while Auto Delete now preserves active bot panels
This update introduces Forum Support in early access - turn a Discord forum channel into a fully managed help desk - alongside new tools for your team, more personalisation, and finer control over the AI assistant.
🎉 A big release. Here's what's new at a glance:
✨ Five new modules
- 🛠️ Staff Management System is now out of early access and available on every server
- ♟️ Chess, 🏷️ Guild-Tag-Roles, 📖 One-Word Story and 🔗 Word Chain are joining in early access
🔐 Verification, rebuilt from scratch - new in-channel flow, no more DMs required
🛡️ Quarantine is sturdier - it now survives bot restarts, member rejoins, and manual role removal by staff
📥 Permanent attachment storage - moderation evidence and starboard images now upload to your scnx file library, so they keep working long after Discord's CDN links would have expired
💅 Plus the usual long list of polish and bug fixes across nearly every module.
Reworked nickname handling: a new central nickname manager coordinates contributions from every module that touches a user's nickname (role nicknames, activity-streak suffixes, AFK markers, mute prefixes, name-list cleaner, custom commands), fixes a slate of related bugs and reduces Discord API call volume on busy servers. Plus a few smaller updates: self-role dropdowns now show a confirmation step before applying changes, the starboard module reliably handles old/uncached messages, the Applications and Temp Channels modules now support the new V4 message editor for their submission and user-list outputs, and the bot recovers automatically when it is kicked and re-invited.
Two new community modules: One-Word Story for collaborative storytelling one word at a time, and Word Chain for the classic last-letter-of-the-previous-word game. Plus a round of community-requested improvements: birthdays now ping members ahead of time and offer a new /birthday upcoming subcommand, polls support multiple answers per voter, the /leaderboard reply is ephemeral so it no longer clutters the channel, the levels module gains a new /calculate-level helper, quiz questions can include images and a custom headline, and member role changes are now logged where users actually expect them.
Staff Management System is here! A complete, end-to-end solution for running a Discord staff team - shifts, infractions, promotions, leave-of-absence, profiles, reviews and activity checks - now available on every server. This release also makes images posted on the Starboard, attachments in Moderation evidence logs, and (optionally) attachments in deleted-message logs stop breaking after a few hours, by uploading them to your scnx file library. And the Levels module gains daily message and voice stats plus a richer set of level-up message placeholders.
A brand-new module lands in Early Access: Chess is now available on every server, letting members play full chess games against each other or a built-in AI - right inside Discord.
This release brings a completely overhauled verification system, a brand-new Guild-Tag-Roles module, new birthday and admin tools, logging fixes, and a range of other improvements.
